The Dewpoint Meter enables testing for the estimation of the probability of condensation on a surface to be painted, and establishes whether conditions at the job site are suitable for painting.
Relative humidity of the air and the steel surface temperature make up the basis for the estimation of the probability of condensation. The steel surface temperature should generally be at least 3°C above the dew point when paint is applied. Below this temperature, the Dewpoint Meter will sound an alarm and the display colour will change to warn the user that surface conditions are not suitable for painting.
Supplied in an industrial carrying case with Humidity Sensor. Calibration Certificates are an optional extra.
