The MiniTest 70 is a lightweight and handy coating thickness gauge (dft gauge) in a pencil format with a built-in sensor. It enables non-destructive measurement of
- non-magnetic coatings (paint, synthetic materials, chromium etc.) on a ferromagnetic substrate (steel)
- insulating coatings (varnish, enamel, synthetic material etc.) on conductive substrates (aluminium, copper, austenitic stainless steel) (only in the FN type models)
The spring-mounted sensors are equipped with wear-resistant sensor poles and ensure durability even when used for measurements on rough and abrasive substrates.
